Increase IIS/WinXP connection limit

While  development , generally we host our service or application on local machine(winXP box). And while peer testing everybody just use your local IIS to access application . This is very common that user get
HTTP 403.9  error. The reason is that IIS on WinXP box comes with the 10 connection simultaneously, still this is not the bad part , the pity is that IE takes 2 connection while accessing application hosted on IIS ( winXP box).
Like Daniel Cazzulino said , it can save my life if i know this hack before . We can increase the maximum number of connection on IIS on winXP , from 10 to 40 . 40 is the max limit.
To do this folow the step
  • Find adsutil.vbs script , generally  located in c:\inetpub\AdminScripts folder .
  • Run the following command to set the limit to 40 adsutil set w3svc/MaxConnections 40
